We are a society that can watch others experience pain, and regroup and help as best we know how. I am sure that the people will want to use this opportunity about the need for a better gun control policy. Be very careful though that you make sure that we are left with the right to bare arms for protection purposes. some times we pass laws that will take away your very own safety, but leave the more responsible left with no way to defend themselves.
A Poem to the Parents and Community
To the parents, our hearts go out to you, because we cannot say we know what it is like to loose a child so early, but we can say that we are sure that this is very grievous, and we want you to know that our prayers are with you while you go through this process. Do what you have to in order to grieve, for it must take place. No that God is with you while you feel his grace. the time that it seems he's not their, is the time that he is showing you his love and care. The many trips to your children's rooms to see if it is really true, and the anticipation of every door opening, he/she will come through. We know you are hurting and this is true, but we pray that God with envelope his loving arms around you. The smell of your children's hair, and the and the little habits you missed, O if God could only help you get through this. The daily moment you wait and hope that something is not real, maybe we are dreaming and when we wake up this will have all been a dream, only to realize that yes, our little babies are no longer with thee. No amount of words can embrace your soul right now, but as time pass, it will help each of you become more loving, more concerned and helpful toward others with different issues in the long run.
