The Story of The Yard Chicken

Once upon a time, their was a young girl who live on a farm.  She had three other siblings and a father and mother.  The litter girl grew into a strong little helper to her father.  She really loved her father and believed he was the smartest man in the world. One day she reached the age of six, when she was assigned her first major chores. She was assigned the chores that know one  wanted.  She was to clean the chicken coupes, gather eggs, and clean the chick manure and make it ready for the fertilizer for certain gardens during the seasons.  She was responsible to take care the hunting dogs, and she had to clean and wash out their pens, and take the truck and haul fresh dirt into the pens. 

One day she and her father were outside in the yard working, and she told her father that the hens were picking on one of the hens, and causing her to loose her feathers. He discussed with his daughter that the hen would have to learn to take care of herself on the yard among all the other hens.  Well, that didn't fit too good with the little girl, and she asked her father, could she take the hen out of the pen with the rest of those mean chickens, because they picked at the hen too much.  He said yes, but the hen is going to have to learn to defend herself. The little girl asked her father, why didn't the hen use her wings to fly away from them instead of letting the other chickens catch her and beat the hen. He said, she is a "yard chicken" and as long as he can remember they very seldom use there wings unless a fox chased after them.  The little girl was puzzled by this.  When they returned to the chicken pen, the other chicken were running past the one chicken, and they would pass her an pluck a feather.  The little girl, began to cry, and tell her father that it was not right, take her out of there.  Her father saw how upset his baby girl was so he said, come with me.  She followed him to another box that they used to house  and transfer chickens. He let her catch the hen and put her inside this transfer box.  He said to his daughter, she is your responsibility, but remember she has to take care of herself when she is healed.  The little girl was so determined that the chicken was going to learn to use them two wings she had, that every day, she would take the hen out and throw her up in the air, and say you can fly, use your wings. She would take the hen and stretch her wings outwardly, and tell her these are wings, they are here to protect you. This took a few months, and finally after much nurturing the hen had grown back all of her feathers. The hen was was beautiful. The little girl would take the hen around the fields and yards and show her places she could get good food.  She became that hen's coach.  Well the day came when her father said to her, are you ready to release the hen? She said yes. The father let her do all the work, and watched her. They both sat down on a bench and watched how the other hens looked at the hen. He said to his daughter, they are sizing her up.  Well, the hens was plotting a strategy of attack.  They rush at the hen and she use her wings, but not enough to really fly.  At first she would just fly over the pen a little, but the other hens went back in a huddle, and they came back out with a knew plan. They surrounded the hen, and the little girl became scared, and told her father, let me get her. He said not now, just be quiet and watch.  Her father was laughing, and she said why are you laughing?  He said watch. Well, all the hens closed in on the one hen, and she flapped those wings and landed up top of the chicken pen fence post.  Her father said, what do you know she learned to use those wings after all. 

Know Your Zones (Joshua and Caleb)

This is how we are in environments that are not very welcoming.  Sometimes we can enter into a zone, that looks like it should be a place where we can get along, and do well among all the people.  We find our selves some what like the hen, picked and plucked for know reason.  Had the hen not been coached by the little girl and challenged by the flying lesson, that at the time to the little girl, did not seem they were working.  The hen on the chicken yard would have never flown had it not been coached.  sometimes it takes and extraordinary person or situation to help to change a very simple thing in a very difficult challenge to another extraordinary person, place or thing. The challenge for the hen was she had been around too many of the same kind, but they had drain all the goals and innovations from one another that they literally conform to the yard rules that they all forgot that their wings could actually work.  It is like us to stay a place too long, and never be challenged by the very environment to see if we have the survival skills, and the needed preparation to take advantage of bigger adventures. sometimes in preparing we wait too late, and when the blessing is being dismissed we are overwhelmed, because  we did not trust God.  The journey to your success is filled with pits, dips, plains, and it maybe that you are the only one that is doing it, but I would encourage you to continue on the course God has set for you. Don't let your opportunity to learn be stumped out by people that are refusing to encourage you where you are.  if you can encourage someone at their level as Jesus does us, then you my friends have become a teacher, the at has compassion for the burden of the ministry that god has given you do do and succeed in. Stay the course. the little girl had enough fight in her that she knew the hens wings could work, so she refused to give up on that theory alone. She could not understand why God would give a chicken wings, and they not use them. The key to this story is that they all had two wings, but they would not use them.Their environment and the conditioning of their thinking bought about a behavior pattern that kept all hens in the yard. They were given everything, and on the days they walked in the fields the fox may get one of them, because they did not use the wings. Kinda of like the sheep before the slaughter. Unlike the guineas and ducks, if something chased them the guineas made so much noise and would fly so high that it would arouse the farmer, and he would grab his gun, because he knew something was after his foul.  

Speak Life Into A Half Dead Thing (Prayer  below)

When we are assigned to environments that are more bluff than power, check the true source of its existence. If your search leads to circus like behavior, stop take a deep breathe, and say theses words, I command the sight of God to overpower me so that I can see beyond the shadow, and find the objects of confusion, and I take authority over them that are in earth, below earth and in hidden places in the name of Jesus. I command every hindering spirit that is under the power of the Almighty to be thou withered as the fig tree and returned to the pit of heel from where it cometh, and I take authority over my life, my sight and over the blindness of the people, that the scales will fall from their eyes, and they will become like Paul, and immediately go forth, and build the lives of others, and the communities that have been staggered by municipalities, principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places. I command that the spirit of opposition is exposed for the evil deeds, and shall be bound to the constraints of hell forever.  Whatsoever is bound on/or in earth shall be bound in heaven, and according to the keys, I have the authority to take charge of the national territories that have afflicted people, but shall be destroyed because of the power of the anointing of the Almighty God.  That whatsoever I loose upon the earth shall begin to reign and take the rightful authority given to us by the decree of God, that we shall eat of the fat of the land, we shall have more, and increase in our wealth, through our right standing in God.  We shall speak those things that are not as though they were, and God shall supply all of our needs according to his riches in Glory.  No weapons formed against the power of God's anointing shall overtake or overturn the righteous in the faith, nor cause them to shrink back anymore from the erosion of evil. God has  not given us the power of fear, but of love power and a sound mind, and I use this powerful prayer to release upon everyone that receives this anointed prayer to produce, protect and defend the cause of God who has delivered us from all evil. I declare and decree that the every angle that Christ has is mind, and I send them forth in authority to claim and reclaim territory that was overtaken, and to connect business deals and promotions for many of God's people who have been stumped by what they have seen, and not what God has said to them.  I release upon the people the freedom think, and to build relationship of LOVE, POWER and a Sound Mind, and to gather the sown vineyards that need harvesting in this hour. Place the protective shield around them, as they harvest, what they have sown, and begin to rebuild the kingdom as kingdom builders, and prepare the way for the Lords chosen vessels as they come forth throughout the land and settle in homes and lands that they have been refused, as well as marriages and families that have been postponed due to the enemies blinders (II Cor. 4:1-8). I release the power to defused the confusing spirits of Babylon that has entered the peoples minds of this world, that when it is spoken again, the new word covenant shall be receive with fire, that shall quench the enemies darts of doubtful gestures "that it will never happen", and return his words on him some hundred foil, and that the power of God shall seal his tomb of death words, never to reign in the Spiritual body of Believers ever again. May the zeal be restored, and the minds be transformed and renewed to the encountering of God's purpose and Will concerning all of our lives in Christ Jesus. Thus saith the lord, Amen.
