THE
CITY OF JERUSALEM
CRIMINAL
COURT
Docket No. II.
SAM-12-19
GOD

VS
King
David
Defendant
|
PETITIONER: I AM GOD,
petitions the Municipalities of the City of Jerusalem on behalf of Uriah the
Hittite, the husband of Bathsheba, who is the wife of Uriah, and the daughter of
Eliam.
FACT
FINDING
I
do hereby conduct the fact finding for the case of Uriah the Hittite as
follows.
1) Uriah was a loyal servant of my son David
2) Uriah was a good man and he was a good
husband to his wife.
3) He honored the laws of God and the laws of
the land, and respected his chief and commander.
4) He was an outstanding soldier and he obeyed
the orders commanded him.
Innocence
with Recompense
Therefore,
I God, am defending Uriah’s case in the City of Jerusalem as Lord, and I will
make recompense to him for his innocent bloodshed. I am going to vindicate him before man,
because I have found in his favor that he shall receive Eternal Life, because he remained a faithful servant of God, as he
were brought before his King as a sheep for slaughter until
his death. I shall avenge his death by
bringing calamity among my own servant, the apple of my eye, because he
followed in his King Saul’s ways in the spirit of rebellion, and transgress the
commandment of the Lord, and thy words (I Sam. 15:22-23). He chose rebellion in
place of obedience, and rejected the Prophet Samuel, as I have given unto the
Prophet what to say and do. The spirit
of rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and
idolatry.
(GUILTY
VERDICT)
The
Defendant King David has been declared guilty through the Fact Finding of the
preliminary hearing, held by the Prophet Nathan who found that King David was
the man that took Uriah’s wife, and sent him on the front lines of fire to be
killed in the hottest battle, while the defendant (David slept with his wife).
Therefore, King David shall receive in the Lord’s Court this day a dual (1) judgment
of Criminal Gross Negligence, the defilement of the marriage bed, with premeditated
murder for taking an innocence man’s life. (2) King David shall live. (3) but I
hereby sentence him in the LORDS court of Justice, in the City of Jerusalem, he
shall witness for as long as his eyes is upon the earth, the calamity of the
wages of his sins, throughout the lives of his children and disloyalty, and the
demise of his kingdom. Although though
David, the son of Jessie, is the apple of my eye, and he has my favor upon his
life, I God shall carry out this order immediately to recompense the death of
my servant Uriah, because he served faithfully unto death.
I
GOD DO HEREBY ORDER
1) Sword
shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken the dead man’s wife as your wife.
2) You took advantage of a poor man, and
his wife.
3) You
disrespected the man in front of his fellow soldiers, and refused to make
recompense for him and his family.
4) You were in considerate of another
man’s property and you had plenty, therefore, I the LORD shall advantage Uriah’s death.
5) I
will raise evil up against you, out of your house,
6) I
will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbor,
7)
Your
neighbor shall lie with you wives in the sight of this sun.
8) Because
you did it in secretly, I will do it publicly before all Israel before the sun.
9) I will strike your child with
Bathsheba, and you shall watch the both of them suffer because
of you being out of order with God.
10) Your son (Amnon) shall rape your daughter
(Tamar).
11) Absalom killed Amnon David’s sons.
12) Absalom attempted to take over his father
David’s Kingdom.
13) King David bought shame against his own
kingdom, because he cried in public over Absalom who was trying to kill him.
GOD’S
MERCY
God
spared David’s life, and did not impute his sin against him, then, he gave him
another son, (Solomon), by Bathsheba.
God
keeps his word to his children, he avenged Uriah’s death, and he showed mercy
to David, after he judged him. It is what a father does to his son when he says,
“Son this is going to hurt me more than it is going to hurt you.
We
can all thank God for his redemptive love, and mercy toward us. We none deserve
his grace, nor do we deserve his mercy. We should all be grateful that the sin
that we have committed against our brothers, and sisters, may seem as though we
are not being punished, but when, we notice that God did not lay a hand on
David, but he surely touched all the people around him. David witnessed the acting out of the same
spirit of rebellion and stubbornness of the wages of his sin past to his
children. The things and people that was precious to David, have now become the
objects of destruction [Ro. 9:22-26, 30, 32; 1:8-32; Gal. 3:8-29, 17-19, 23] He experienced sorrows that many of us do not
like to witness. God loved him, but he had to show him that discipline, because
he was not as temperate, focused on the mission of God, or his purpose of his
life. We should never abort the mission, even when we become bored, lonely, or
lost.
GOD
KEPT HIS COVENANT PROMISE
God kept his promised (covenant) with David,
and did not impute his sin upon him, but made him witness the repercussion of
the wages of his sin acts in his children, children’s children lives. [The sword
shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have
taken the dead man’s wife as your wife]. Because God is merciful,
long suffering, and is not a man that he should lie. It does not mean that God
is going to allow us to choose which method of discipline we want people to
receive and allow us to placed it on them.
Then, he would not be God, but a mere man, who we can sway and turn
tricks with him anytime we like.
GOD’S
KINGDOM REQUIRES RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS
Although
God loved David, he did not leave him without council, and he allowed David to
choose from the three punishments during the time of the three-year famine,
because he did not discipline his son (the apple of David’s eye) Absalom,
before the people. Absalom, the apple of David’s eye, was trying to kill David
and take his Kingdom, but David loved that child so much, but his son was angry
with him for allowing his brother to rape his sister (Tamar) and not avenging
her reputation.
DAVID
FAILED TO KEEP ORDER IN THE KINGDOM
Absalom had to become the father image to his
sister, because David (the father and king) did not say anything on her behalf
of his daughter, a citizen of the City of Jerusalem, and the law-required
death. Whether the judgment fell on David’s son, or not, God gave him the
mission to not turn from the left, nor turn from the right, but to make
discernments of righteous judgments. He was the King, even though, he was a
father, He was still the King of Jerusalem, and he was supposed to avenge the
wrongful act (I Sam.13: (7, 20, 21, 24, 32-33; 14:1-) for the first rape victim,
by his own son, Amnon, who was killed by his brother, Absalom. Because Amnon
raped their sister (Tamar), David could not function as a king in lieu of the
order of judging his own child, but he should have ordered the proper judgment
for the proper crime. Therefore, his son’s sins were destroying his father and
the Kingdom. David loved this child so
much, that he embarrassed the whole kingdom. The loyal supporters like (Uriah) stuck
beside him, and fought beside him to kill his son Absalom, but the human in
David could not bear the pain of losing the apple of his eye. The child was
just like his father. Although God kept his promise with David, he kept his
recompense for Uriah. They had to kill Absalom David’s son who was the key
spirit of rebellion. King David let the situation get out of hand for too long,
and he caused danger to arise against an innocent people, because of the order
of decree issued by God. The situation of kill, or be killed, and all of
David’s loyal servants put their lives on the line to defend David and the
Kingdom, because David aborted the mission of obligatory responsibilities toward
the Kingdom and the citizenship of the people.
GOD
HAS A PRINCIPLE IN LEADERSHIP
Ethical
leadership requires us to make decision that are right, even when we are done
wrong, or the people are favored are not who we want to do right. If your child
is wrong, he/she still has to receive what the children of wrath should receive
in the LORD’s Court. David could not let that son go, any more than God could
let David go. Yes, he was favored, but he suffered to earn that favor.
Unethical BEHAVIOR should not be tolerated, when it will affect the whole order
of things. We cannot continue a course of going forward until we deal with the
injuries we have caused others. God
grants us the new covenant through faith, but it is up to God who he chooses
for positions, and how he will use those people to accomplish what he wants
them to do. (Ro. 9:15-32).
SHOULD
WE CONSIDER GOD’S WAY OR SODOM AND GOMORAH’S WAYS?
Gen.3:22-24
(Ro.9:
29: RSV) “If the Lord of hosts had not left us children, we would have fared
like Sodom and been made like Gomorrah. Well with that scripture, it would lead
one to believe that God’s principles of marriage had a redeemable solution to
replenishing the earth with seeds of human kind (Gen.1:28). Therefore, he left
a well thought out plan that he would allow relationships that would procreate
the earth with its like kind. (Gen. 2; 18-25, 20 part 2) but for Adam there was
not found a helpmeet for him. (Gen. 3:15-21) Yes, God showed them mercy, but
because of their sin of knowing right from wrong, they failed to do right as did David, they
lived a full life, but their lives were judged by God, and they were ordered
out of the garden. Their son Cain slew their son Abel in a garden as well. The point
I am leading to, is it is not enough to know what is right, and then do not do
it. God is looking for God’s Ambassadors and not men pleasers. An obedient son or
daughter of the new covenant, which believe they have received his promise by
faith through his grace. His mercy shall govern our lives and we too shall be
able to see how his covenant will work for us as we watch all things come to
God’s altar.
IMAGE
OF GOD IS REQUIRED of THE PREEMINENT MAN
David 2 Sam. 14: 17-20; Mat
12:11-13; Ps. 82:6; 8:6-9
(22 part 1) and the Lord God said, Behold, the
man is become as one of us, (Gen. 1:27:29) to know good and evil: (20) And Adam
named his wife Eve; because she was the mother of all living. (Gen. 4:1-8, 13-15).
If you notice, Adam and Eve’s sins demonstrated through their children in front
of their eyes, with their children (Cain & Abel). The order is changed as
the older shall serve the younger, and the blood shed of Abel
was place in the same ground that God said to Adam and Eve (Gen.3: 15-17). The
same curse came upon Cain after he slew Abel, and he received a judgment of
being a vagabond, and a fugitive. Also,
Ro. 9:11, reiterates how God master plans our lives (Esau and Jacob) before the
foundation to the world. It is better
that we obey him, and follow his lead rather than to follow our own.
It
appears that in order to be men/women of preeminence, it will take more than
what we know, but instead, a holy lifestyle that is as the image of God and his
likeness. He is never wrong, yet, we are constantly trying to flex our muscles
without him. I am sharing this message with you and I hope that you will enjoy
the preeminence of God as to show us how he does what he do.
GOOD VS EVIL: FLESH VS FAITH
There
is a reference to good and evil, that God is holding us as a people
accountable. We can no longer pretend that God is not real in our lives, and we
are serving a phantom. (Hebrews, Chapters 8 and 10) offers more hope to the new
covenant believer, and teaches us that we are no longer under the Moses laws.
They required bloodshed, but we are now under the Law of Grace, that leads us
to the doors of his mercy, and God no longer remembers sins, since we have
believed the report of the lord, and have accepted Christ as our savior through
faith by grace. We realize that through
the power of Love we are new creatures in Christ, and we are no longer walking
after the flesh (Gal. 3:23-28 RSV) confined under the law, restraint until
faith should be revealed. The Moses law held its purpose to be our
schoolmaster/custodian until Christ came, that we might be justified by faith.
Now that Christ has come, we inherited the entitlement and indemnity clause
(debt paid in full) and the right to be called the sons of God.
The
scripture teaches us that everything is permissible, but not everything is
beneficial. Obedience is a character of the god evil trait for the blessings of
the Lord to bestow upon you. We have him (God) working on the inside of us, and
he is ready and willing to offer us the promised life of (Deut. 7:6-14) (13-14)
we are not supposed to be barren among you, or among your cattle. (Gen. 1:28)
(Ro. 4:18; 3:1-18-31.
